We have trouble getting it to come on, have to push on and off quite a few times, once on, it runs good. Just afraid to turn it off,. Now.... trying to hook up a dvd/vcr player up to it. Right now we have DISH box hooked to tv via RCA cables. Going into composite. The satellite channels work on the tv by changing the channels on the satellite box. How do I add the dvd/vcr player and still get the channels from the dish box. There is no RF hookup on the lcd tv. There is an antenna in but it takes an RCA cable. Need info...asap. I'm beginning to think that LCD is a waste of money...they should of never changed from sd tv's.
Unfortunately the ILO TVs aren't a good investment. If you just purchased the television, I would return it as soon as possible and purchase a more reliable and well known brand. ILO support services is almost non-existant and there are several comments on other blogs regarding the Ilo brand. I have two ILO 26" HD, which I purchased in Aug '06 and am now beginning to experience problems.

Likely a failed fluorescent backlight or the inverter that supplies the high voltage to it.
I'd like to suggest a potential source for parts or service but the earlier authorized service company was Initial Technology and their webiste is no more so the company is probably defunct.
Ilo was sold only by Wal-Mart and our 32HD failed after 6 weeks and when returned after several weeks from repair, had the LCD panel damaged which didn't show up until we tried using it full screen and saw the flaw.
You may have some luck here:
Possible Ilo parts source
Otherwise, I'm afraid your friend is just another victim of a Wal-Mart junk supplier.
Hey, you can try http://www.discount-merchant.com/ They have may parts. just remember that the board you are looking for may be made buy another manufacturer and used in other displays. Part numbers might be differen but the same power supply. You can call them and ask them, they have free tech support.
Normally this is a good indication of a stuck button on the set. With the set off, try working each of the control buttons. You should be able to feel teh button engage. If one feels like it does not work, that is the likely culprit and it should be replaced.
Hi! I have been through this situation on a 26" model of ILO LCD TV. I think the problem you have is the same, but could you clarify one thing for me? Is your model an ILO-3200, or is it an ILO-32HD? I suspect 32HD, because I know the problem exists on the 26HD models which are basically very similar in design and say manufactured by Initial Technologies on the back of the set. Does your unit list this manufacturer on the back? Let me know. Thanks!
