Question about Uniden Cordless Phone
During a connected call the person I am talking to is disconnected - they later report hearing loud squeeling noises. I hear myself talking -in loud and magnified voice. I am unable to end the call - pressng button to end the call has no effect and cannot redial on that phone or any other telephone in the house until after I replace the Uniden cordless in its cradle.
If it's in warranty, I would send it back. It sounds like a problem with the built-in amplifier and possibly other components.
The squealing and echo is down to gain being too high, if you cannot set this on the phone, then it's a fixed value in the hardware. If you can, lower the gain. As for not being able to end the call, what about pressing the "c" button or the green button again?
