Re: black and white and feedback

Hi this problem usually happens if you have got alot of things plugged into the telly like dvd players this causes the interferance and can be solved by disconecting these other items.
Also are you plugging it into the telly via scart lead or are you using the av leads ie the different coloured ones.
If you are using scart fitting have you tried pressing the av button on the telly controll as if you are not on the right av chanell this will cause black and white pictures so give it a try also this is the same with the coloured leads let me know how you get on.
Make sure their is nothing in the conector at the ps3 end like a biit of paper or fluff as this can cause all sorts of problems and dont use your ps3 on carpet as it will cause unit to get to hot and will cause parts to overheat and will need replacing check all air vents are free from dust and make sure its on hard surface if the unit has overheated it will cost a fortune to repair

I bought Master mind for kids game, made by pressman. It did not come w/ any instructions. I need rules for the game to play the game.

The two players decide in advance how many games they will play, which must be an even number. One player becomes the codemaker, the other the codebreaker. The codemaker chooses a pattern of four code pegs. Duplicates are allowed, so the player could even choose four code pegs of the same color. The chosen pattern is placed in the four holes covered by the shield, visible to the codemaker but not to the codebreaker.
The codebreaker tries to guess the pattern, in both order and color, within twelve (or ten, or eight) turns. Each guess is made by placing a row of code pegs on the decoding board. Once placed, the codemaker provides feedback by placing from zero to four key pegs in the small holes of the row with the guess. A colored (often black) key peg is placed for each code peg from the guess which is correct in both color and position. A white peg indicates the existence of a correct color peg placed in the wrong position.
If there are duplicate colours in the guess, they cannot all be awarded a key peg unless they correspond to the same number of duplicate colours in the hidden code. For example, if the hidden code is white-white-black-black and the player guesses white-white-white-black, the codemaker will award two colored pegs for the two correct whites, nothing for the third white as there is not a third white in the code, and a colored peg for the black. No indication is given of the fact that the code also includes a second black.
Once feedback is provided, another guess is made; guesses and feedback continue to alternate until either the codebreaker guesses correctly, or twelve (or ten, or eight) incorrect guesses are made.
The codemaker gets one point for each guess a codebreaker makes. An extra point is earned by the codemaker if the codebreaker doesn't guess the pattern exactly in the last guess. (An alternative is to score based on the number of colored key pegs placed.) The winner is the one who has the least points after the agreed-upon number of games are played.

My playstation 3, which i bought this christmas, new, is crashing alot. Alot more every day. we play call of duty black ops but it does it on a couple other games as well

Usually heat or bad sectors/ corrupt sectors on the hard drive will cause this issue.

I'd recommend getting two cans of compressed air, taking it outside and clearing out the dust, then when you play cod run a mini fan directly onto the unit.

COD runs heavy on the graphics hence it happening more with that game than others ;)

Why is picture black & white? Sound and picture are good otherwise.

Hi, i bought a wii a few days ago and like everybody else mine too was in black and white with a grainy picture. I have a Panasonic lcd flat screen and thought I had connected it corrected, I got somebody out to have a look at it and found out there are some connections on the side of the TV which I hadn't even noticed before, once I put the red white and yellow leads in these and set the TV to AV3 everything is in perfect colour. Hope this works for some of you.

Take care

Had the same problem, went to Currys and bought a switchable scart adapter, on the receipt it's called a BELKIN 3 RCASCART ADAPTER £14.67. Plugged it in, sorted. Hope this helps, happy playing.

Do you have it hooked up straight to your tv or is it hooked into a System Selector? Your cables might be going bad, or what ever you have cables plugged into is going bad.
