Question about Hitachi 53UDX10B 53" Rear Projection Television
Someone gave me the tv, and said they thought it needed about a $100 repair, but i'm not so sure. Overall, physicall it's in good condition, but it has a picture problem.
First, it looks like a 3-D movie without using the glasses. Second, it has some pretty bad lines going vertical across the lower-center portion of the picture. Enough to make it totally unwatchable.
Is this something that would be worth fixing? What's the problem, and what will it cost me? Would it be better to just get rid of it?
Sounds like convergance amp ic's see links below
