Wont drain wont spin

This problem can be caused by a few things. first I would check the lid switch. You should be able to hear a clicking sound, this is the switch actuating. If you can't hear it, chances are you may need a lid switch. The machine won't spin but it should drain. part number for the lid switch is 8054980. The second problem could be that there is something caught inside the drain pump and now won't drain. It is also possible that the damage has already been done to the pumps impellers and can pump little or no water. If however you are hearing any sort of loud banging noise. this could indicate that your direct drive coupler needs to be replaced. part number for the coupler is 285753. These are common problems and can be easily diagnosed and replaced by a technician.hope this helps.

IS your lid depressing the lid switch? using a pencil push gently on switch when unit is on
