Once you have enabled UPNP on your router and saved the change, restart your router and your PS3, then try. That should get them on the same page and the PS3 to read that UPNP is enabled.

can you go to network settings in your ps3 then test internet connection. If it says UPNP unavailable then you need to enable it in your router or upgrade router firmware if router shows UPNP as enabled.

You need to disable the UPnP function on the Belkin router. Log into the router(192.168.2.1), and look under System Settings for the UPnP function and disable it. If you haven't changed the password on the router, the default password is blank, i.e., no password.

this happen a lot especially with the playstations that are connected to the internet by wireless there is a conflict between the routers and the playstation they keep losing the dns and other settings if you can connect your ps3 using the Ethernet connection and this won't happend like using wireless

Try turning off upnp. Also make sure it is set to a wired connection. Turn off the router for a few minutes with the PS3 off, and then turn on the router, allow it to set up and then try the PS3 set up.
