Panasonic Plasma TV - Model # TH42PX77U does not turn on and red light next to power button blinks 7 times - what does this mean?

What would be a good estimate for a repair - parts and labor?

This is a difficult question to answer completely. 7 blinks indicates that one of the C boads has failed. however, there are several an SC,SD, SS and SU.
The procedure is to disconnect each of there boards until the blinking is eliminated. The labor charge is usually around 200.00 and the cost of whichever board is bad. Hope this helps.
