Html checkmarks

Hi I asked this question "With html how can you make a bigger, bolder checkmark to put in checkboxes." and you replied "Usually, to make the check mark bigger requires setting the check box to use a larger font. To make it bolder, you need to set the font property for that area to "Bold". But the checkmark html I am using is this "<div style="position: absolute; left: 121px; top: 227px;> <input name="CheckboxName" type="checkbox"> </div> So where from there could I bold it?
