If Macromedia Flash Player 8 is installed on a computer where no previous versions of the Macromedia Flash Player have been installed, then the Picture Package Menu option may be unable to start. To resolve this issue, download and install the Picture Package Menu update from the Picture Package Web site at: http://support.d-imaging.sony.co.jp/www/disoft/int/pixela/picpac/dl/dl_ppk_menu1x.html
The issue should be resolved.
Have found the solution to the problem. If you cannot access Picture Package because it says Macromedia Flash needs to be downloaded, and you have already downloaded Flash successfully then the problem is with Picture Package, and it needs to be updated. Go to http://www.ppackage.com/e/index.html and download the most recent update for your version of Picture Package. This solved the problem for me and hopefully will do the same for you!
