When i was playing Cooking Mama on the ds yesterday, it would let me do what you were ment to do on the touch screen, it is all out of linement! I went onto PictoChat to see if it was just the game, but it wasn't!
I have tried everything including that thing to put it in linement with the stylus (stick) ut everytime i do that it dosnt work!
Hi did you try the calibration test in the ds settings. And if it is a new ds there might be something wrong with it. Or sometimes when you hold it at a weird angle it looks like you're touching one thing but you're touching something different.

It may need to be recalibrated. If you already know exactly what I'm talking about, and have already tried, then this sometimes happens with the DS. If not, start your DS without a game in either of the slots. then when you get to the screen where it says pictochat, download play, and all the other stuff, look at the middle of the bottom of the bottom screen. Press the tiny DS there. then touch the recalibrate button. Then touch the things it tells you to touch. All these steps can be done with the buttons, but use the touch screen to recalibrate. Hope this helped.
i bought cooking mama for ds and it worked perfectly in english... when you buy the game, if the title in english usually the game would be in english otherwise you could return it to the store. the other solution,if you want to, you could buy flash card for ds such edge and r4, and download the game online... because when you download the game, they have tag behind the title. for example: cooking mama 2 (US) which in english cooking mama (GER) which in germany etc
It's a faulty batch - if you call 505 Games, they will send a pre-paid envelope out to you so you can return it, and then they will send you a new one (plus a free game for your troubles, which is nice!)
2. Go to Settings (Little icon on the bottom of the touch screen)
3. Select Pink button
4. Select "GBA Mode" (pink button on the right)
5. Select "Touch screen"
This is mainly affective for GBA games, not DS games unfortunately. If you are really that desperate to play DS games properly, then either hope you can still claim it on warranty and/or buy a brand new DS (maybe even the new DSi).
These three characters are owned by three different companies. Though as some arcade game players might know, Tamagotchi was in a Mario Kart Arcade 2 game. But these machines can be really had to find. I'd suggest finding a real Tamagotchi toy or finding the old Game Boy Color Tamagotchi game as these follow the original pet simulation formula. The Tamagotchi games for the DS are all mini game collections with Tamagotchi themed things.
As for Cooking mama, theres Cooking Mama 1 Cooking Mama 2 Gardening Mama (released last month or so) Plus two Gardening Mama games for the Wii.
For Mario I'd sugget; New Super Mario Bros Super Mario 64 DS Mario Kart DS
You can pick these all up from your local game shop for a decent price or better these days.
Tamagotchi can be hard to find, though some gameshops will carry older games.
