How do I remove music from MyMusix PD-6070?

Is it possible to delete music from a MyMusix PD-6070? In the manuel it goes over deleting voice files, but there is no mention of deleting music files. If it is possible to delete music from the player, a solution would be greatly appreciated.

como puedo borrar todas las canciones de mi mymusix pd-6070

It will not allow me to "just delete" the songs when I have the 6070 pluged into the USB port. It will not allow me to manipulate it in any way. I can't format, delete or organize. I've done the typical attempts to add & remove files, format and organize the MP3 player. I've done as instructed by the manual and from this site. Nothing is working. I've even tried different computers.

PLEEEEASE TELL ME HOW TO DELETE MUSIC FROM MY MYMUSIX PD 6070

The songs only can deleted through your PC. If you use Windows Media Player 10, go to the Sync window and select the songs that should show up under the 'Music' folder tree on the right side of the window and select the songs you want to delete and press the 'delete' key on your keyboard. With Windows Media Player 11, Open the 'Audio Player' tree on the left side of the window then select 'Songs' from the list. Then select the songs you want to delete and press the 'delete' key on your keyboard.
You can also select the 'Audio Player' or 'Removable Disk' under 'My Computer' and delete the songs from there.

Delete music from pd-6070

The MyMusix device software is buggy and prone to break downs from time to time. Reformatting the device usually fixes these problems. The best way to reformat is to use the manufactures firmware update process.

Go to the MyMusix.com website and download and install the firmware upgrade for the PD-6070 player using the download drop-down menu.

Back up all of the songs on your player to your computer hard drive.

Carefully read (or better yet print for future reference) the PD-6070 FAQ instructions for running the firmware upgrade, especially the drop down to select the US version of the firmware.

Run the firmware upgrade. It will reformat your device and restore it to it's original capacity.

I use windows media player 10 for mine and all I do is:

1)click the "sync" tab on the top navigation bar

2)look under the "mp3 player" drop down list on the left side of the screen for "songs"

3) click it, which will open up all of the songs you have in the player

4 find the music you don't want, right click it, and then click delete

Will not download to "Music"--only to "Voice"

With your mp3player attached, open my computer look for "MyMusix pd.."-something like that and then open "Music".
Now that you have that window open,
open the folder where you have your music in [My Music]
Now simply drag the songs to the music file on your mp3 player.

Hope that solved it, please rate.
