The printer sounds like it's ready to print, but does nothing. Only one of the two lights comes on. It has been working fine and I've done nothing different to it.

I've had this fault myself, If memory serves me right the control panel ( small though it is) we found to be the problem, once replaced the unit the displayed correctly, weirdly all functions of the printer were still available even though we were unable to see the display.
we were able to get config pages etc, and like you say the indicator lights were working- sort of - when they wanted to.
replace the diplay PWB ( its small and reasonably cheap)

Inkjet printers need to be used frequently to prevent ink drying out and blocking the print head nozzles.
If the print head cleaning maintenance routine does not clear the blockages, then print head needs replacing, but it may be expensive.
It may be more cost effective to buy a later model and better printer than replace the print head.

I have the same problem. Everything on the printer is working just fine. It'll do a test page just fine, so everything's working right. The %$^ thing just won't print. It makes noise like it's printing when you give it a print job, but it spits out blank pages.

If you had done utility check and they are fine, had you try printing on a stand alone not using a computer. if you can print on a stand alone, there is no problem on the hardware side of the printer because u were able to print on a stand alone. you can focus now on the software side by uninstalling and re installing the driver of the printer and that should work.

You have I am sorry to say a blocked print head. You would have to fit a new one but only a trained engineer could do it as the head is not a separate part and its a pig of a job if you have never done one. Take a tip and take it to the tip and buy a new one. PS, part number is LK2179001

Try putting a piece of paper in tray 1

Normal 0 Driver could be corrupt.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.
