Is there a code for the Sony remote RM-V202 to operate a Polaroid DVD player?

The code is in user's manual. If you don't have the manual. try to download it. These websites are supposed to give the support:

Very sorry to say that your Sansui Tv is not listed in the codes of Sony RM V202. Its codes contains only one Sansui product and it is ; Sansui VCR, and its code is 017. OK.

Strangely enough, there are no remote codes that i can find... Universal remotes have a default fallback where you go thru the entire preprogrammed database to find one that work..

You might want to call the support number on the page and make your inquiry.

find the correct code automatically.Turn on your device.
while pressing SET botton press POWER, and release them ,then press CH+,then release it
Then press POWER repeatedly untill your device responds.don't go too fast.
When it responds press ENTER to store the code.

the codes are 051     060      069      
1 turn on dvd
2 press and hold s button
3 whilst holding s button press and release power button
4release set button
5 press dvd on controll
6 using key pad key in the 3 digit code
7 press enter button
8 point remote at dvd and try power button
9 if nothing work enter next code
