I installed the panda antivirus for netbooks and computer is so so so so slow to log on on facebook, however if log on to hotmail and then go to my mails on hotmail and then go to facebook, it logs on to facebook very fast....why?

uninstall the antivirus and install a new antivirus rather than Panda .. check whether the firewall is blocking the sites and making the internet connection slower to open the websites.

The anti virus is most likely using up a lot of resources on start up. Remove the anti virus and install one which won't take up too much resources, ie Memory etc.
