My NEC IT 2530 copier machine is coming up with an malfunction detected call for service C2557. I need to get the copier machine working.

C2557= ATDC sensor failure.
Did you run the machine out of toner? Or if you or a service tech recently replaced the developer then you need to perform the F8 adjustment in the service mode. Either way you will need a service technician.
