You'll need to install the printer driver to make it work with your computer. Just go to the Lexmark website http://www.lexmark.com/lexmark/site/home/0,6932,204816596_0_0_en,00.html
Next, click "Drivers and Downloads", then select which printer you have. There is an "autodetect" option on that page that will discover your printer model for you.

Next, follow the directions on the screen for installing the correct driver for your printer.

You also might need to confirm that you have the correct cords to connect your printer to your computer.

Printer given barcode missing install new ribbon

There are two styles of P7000 a spool ribbon style and a cartridge ribbon style. You are getting a barcode error then your printer is looking for a ribbon spool not a ribbon cartridge.

Cartridge Ribbon:
PRINTRONIX 255048 402 P7000 EXT LIFE CARTRIDGE RIBBON New

Spool Ribbon:
PRINTRONIX 179499 001 ULTRA CAPACITY RIBBON 6 PACK New

When i turn my printer on i get this error Service required. Parts in your printer are at the end of their service life. See your printer documentation. I dont have my documentation. Any suggestions?

a cleaning kit is given to you at the time of purchasing of this printer. if you lost that, it can be available in any computer shop. use that with the instruction given there. I think your printer can work.

Follow steps given below:
In control panel click at printers and faxes,click at properties menu and select hardware component.
Click at the scroll bar given at the end and select use this device.
Your blocked printer will working.

have you installed the PROPER Vista driver? Or just used the install disk that may have come with your machine years ago, and may not be designed for "Vista". Go to sharp and download the proper driver, or at least see if it is supported.

Printer keeps printing previous data without giving any command.

Dear user,
Your printer already have many commands given for print. that why is prints all that data which is already have given.

To clean the print commands. open your printer from Control panel---> printer and faxes--->> your printer
and then cancel all the commands which are waiting to be print.
You will not have anymore unwanted prints.

Hp officejet j4580 all-in-one printer will not print documents on screen it prints old documents and takes along time to print after the print command has been given

If you are using one printer in the same office, i mean if all the other employers also using it than this problem arises. Because if many employers using it than printer will always print in order of the print commands given. It works as prints given in order by time. If this is not the case than you can try to delete old print commands by switching the printer off and than deleting. I think this must help you.

I got a new computer and i can not get my printer and scanner to work.

Hi mate, have you installed the cd given with the printer..???
If no, then you have to install the software given in the cd.
If yes, yes then try to fix all the cords again, may be there is a loose connection, or first uninstall and re-install the software given in the cd.
