We use well water and I don't have a stainless steel dishwasher, so the tub has gotten very dirty looking with time. How do I clean the tub?

Make sure there is no detergent in the dishwasher. Put the dishwasher in "Rinse and hold" cycle and start it. Once you hear it starting to fill with water, open the door and pour in a cup of white vinegar. Resume the cycle. You also can try using some citric acid. If all that did not help try this.
