I have a Fuji finepix S7000. I've had it for a few years now and since the start I can only get about 25 shots per set of batteries. It's been such an expense that I just boxed it up and haven't used it in a while. Anything I can do to make the batteries last longer? It's to the point that I'm considering getting rid of it.
From what I've read (because it has started happening to mine) it could be down to the CompactFlash card.. I may swap to using a high capacity XD card instead to see if that solves it

Hi, I have a S7000 camera and till last week it performed very well. I changed this morning the batteries and suddenly I cannot take a shot anymore. When pressing the button lightly it does focus the object, everything is functioning well, but when I press further after the focus nothing happens and no picture is taken. Does anyone have any idea how to solve?
