Hi I am having problems with my Dell AIO 948

Hi I am having problems with my Dell AIO 948 printer. The printer clicks every time I turn it on. It dosent stop for about 30 sec and then it will let me print. the clicking comes from the scanner. I know there is no lock for it and i have tried all the solutions people have poasted. like making sure all of the cables are plugged in correctly and the correct drivers are installed. if anyone can please advise i would appreciate it I am at the end of my rope with this. Thanks!!
