The blade cuts part way through a log and then goes side ways. I took it off to see if it had a bend or something with the bar but the bar is straight and does not seem bent.
As the chain wears the bar, a wire edge is created. Check your manual it probably mentions bar maintenance. A flat file at a 45° angle around the perimeter of the bar, both side will probably fix it free. HTH

Try sharpening the cutters! A dull chain will have to be forced to cut & will invariably cut in an arc. You only need to guide the saw with a sharp chain...........the saw does all the work with no effort. Larry

I have to replace the trigger on my Poulan Wildthing (model 2375). I have the roller pins pushed out and I am wondering if I have to dismantle the whole saw to split the casing to get at the trigger? Any tips,tricks or hints? Also when looking at the Poulan website there appears to be at least 7 different versions of this saw. Are all the triggers the same? Want to order the right part.
