Wont come on light is just flashing on the back of computer
wont come on light is just flashing on the back of computer .was working i turned it off and then back on would not come on.

the light flashing on the back or your computer is nothing more than your network card's activity indicator. After powering down then back up, what changed?

If you don't hear the power supply fan running, the power supply is probably dead.
HP skimps on the power rating of their supplies to save a few pennies.
I'm fairly sure this system uses the ATX standard so any supply will have the correct voltages if meeting this standard and buying higher power costs very little more and a better supply will not have to run at maximum ratings to do its job.
This item on eBay is typical of what you need:
480 Watt ATX PC power supply
Anyone can successfully replace one of these but to gain confidence, you might want to take a couple of photos before removing the original.
Also; unless your system box is filled to the rim, you will have connectors left over after putting back all you need for your system.

Where is the light flashing? Is it by the network cable?
You could try unplugging the power cable for 30 seconds and then plug it in and try again.
