If it is DELL Computer & when you use a DELL Branded OS CD,you dont need Product key.
I think the best theing that io can suggest you is get hold of the store or the company from whom you bought the CD for xp and they will be the best person to tell you or else you can get the product key on the cover of the cd ........................... hope the concern gets taken care of !!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm assuming you have quite a lot of computer savvy??? You'll need to access that drive and get the original key off it. Try connecting the drive to another pc and see if you can get to the Windows folder. Once there, use Jellybean Keyfinder to navigate to the Windows folder in that drive and take note of the OS key. From there you can reformat and use the existing key.
