Hi All,

I too had the same problem. What a pain in the @$$. Here's what I did... after I tried everything under the sun I finally decided to Log In... even though it says you don't need to in order to do updates.

So I created an account.
Then I updated with the TT ONE New Edition software.
Then I closed TT HOME program.
Then I clicked the icon at the bottom right of the screen for safely removing devices and clicked to remove the TomTom.
Then the TT ONE updated itself and I got my map back.

Good Luck!

My A350 satnav will not charge from laptop message USB not recognised any ideas?

It shouldn't matter. The USB is just a permanent 5 volts supply with data exchange pins. You could of course load the software for the sat nav to the computer. This is used for updating maps, software and firmware.

Ah, I see it is Binatone, which regrettably is cheap nasty stuff. Having said that it has all the features of my Garmin except Lane Assist, which was my reason from updating from my first Garmin.

I found this in your manual

Garmin nuvi

This is an indication that the map or map unlock key is either missing or corrupted. If you have registered your unit with Garmin, try connecting to your PC and try downloading the map again. More info on missing maps can be found here:

I was updating it and was running late so i unplugged it from my computer and now it sayd no maps found. i have tried to "find the solution and fix it" but the computer says theres no problems...

While updating there shouldn't be any form of interruption. If there is, then it means the files that support the programs will be missing. There fore there might be a couple of problems arising from such interruption.
the solution is for you to connect the gps to your computer, then format it and reinstall its software and get new maps for it. Ensure there is no interruption while doing this.
Complements of the season to you over there.

TomTom One has lost connection with satilet

To regain connection back to th satelite, first remove it and reinstall it back, if it does not connect still, then you have to update the tom tom reciever by connecting it to a computer, remove all the maps on it, the update it from the home website.

After updating, upload the new maps back on it, the you connect it to the car system, after doing this, then you try to use it. If it does the same, then it is due to a poor signal in the area that the gps in not connecting to the satelite.

Take care

No maps found when updating garmin with latest maps

I can help you reset and fix your Garmin Nuvi 265WT.

Not starting, getting stuck on the flashing Garmin logo, or a message about not finding any maps, are indications that the firmware / system software inside your GPS has been corrupted.

There are three steps to take to get your Nuvi 265WT running like new:

  1. Back up your Favorites.
  2. Perform a Hard Reset.
  3. Download and then run Garmin 265WT WebUpdater to replace its firmware / system software.

I hope that helps.

You cannot use a card from another tt. The navcore and maps are for that individual device only. Check the tt forums you can find a wealth of information on them.
