I trip wire broken

I noticed that no 1 spoke of the wires that you were requesting so what I found out from the board self for the a iTrip work comes up the little LCD display if you pop it open it tells you what each 1 of those wires are for the red and black obviously are power and ground. Green is Right side, brown is ground (or S on Griffin's board), yellow is Left Side, purple goes to 'I', blue to 'X', white is 'T'. I'm only guessing for the x,t,&I but i maybe the interaction from connector to LCD x is receive and the is transmit. Not really sure on it so don't quote me on that. But that's about far as I can help with. Since I'm converting mine from iPod connector to regular headphone jack to use on my android

We are trying to hook up our kenwood stereo to our boat it resently had an am/fm casset player n it that worked and was wired what wires would we need to connect to get the power on the stereo

Generic wiring will be red is hot with key on or battery on. Black is ground (chassis) or earth ground (negative) back to the battery.. Blue will be for a remote or can also be hot all the time for a clock. So if you have a battery disconnect, it will loose time every time you kill the battery / switch. The speaker will be in pairs by colors, like gray and then a gray with a blue strip, or white then white with a green strip. These are speaker wires, use a speaker and the once the radio is working run the balance right and left to see which pair is left and right. then run the fader front then back to see which ones are front and rear. Hope this helps.

My Alba PRDAB200MP3 player's battery runs out very quickly. can i replace it?

Yes you can, but you can't get a replacement battery. I used a IPod Gen4 replacement battery, which seems to work well. Undo the 2 screws at the bottom and un-clip the top. Cut the wire off the old battery and join to the new as follows - Black wire to Black wire, Red wire to Red wire, White wire to yellow wire and solder and then cover joints with tape. Replace cover - Took me 10mins.

Battery depletes over night after fully charged with no use

This is because the cable that connects new battery to iPod is either damaged, or has come loose...

Take it back to whoever performed the replacement... Or, I can walk you through the repair myself, but you will need a VERY thin flat-head screwdriver (like the kind in glasses repair kits).

P.S I GUARANTEE this is your solution... I'd stake my iPod on it.

My MP3 YP-U3 donĀ“t power up

the battery might be dead. or u might have to take it apart and charge the battery by hand. ive done this before and it workd. i used a usb cord (5 Volts Max) wat ever u do do not charge the battery with anything over 5 volts. the battery inside the mp3 player is 3.7 volts, so be careful. It unplugs from the chip inside and the battery is easy to get out DO AT UR OWN RISK - PARTS ARE SMALL AND CAN BRAKE WHEN HANDLE CARELESSLY all u gotta do is find the seems on the sides and pull the player apart until it cracks open. then pull the connection tabs up for the usb and buttons from the chip, then by the hold button the chip will be guled to a ground, pull it apart and filp over the chip and u will see a lil clear plug with black (-) and red (+) wires on it, un plug it and set everything else aside, all u need is the battery. Now u need to find a old usb cord laying around and cut the end off that doesnt conect to the computer, splice the cord so that the wires are showing, cut them off EXCEPT FOR THE BLACK AND RED, now plug in the cord to a computer, or game console (ex. Xbox 360, Wii, PS2) then forcefuly slide the black wire onto the black (-) prong on the battery plug, same thing with the red one (+)
then let it set for 15 mins. now u have to conect everything back the way it was and snap the player back together and see if it will come on, if not you might have to take it back and get a new one if you have ur receat. i hope this works remember be very careful with the inside componets. Good Luck!

Iriver H340 - new battery charges, but does not work...

Hi, I had the same problem with my H340. I bought a battery for $16 on eBay and swapped them out. The unit would say "Charging" but would never "Complete". When disconnected from the AC, it would not power up at all. I opened it up again and noticed that the old battery connections had the red wire on the left, the battery had the red wire on the right. I took the black and red wires out of the quick-connect jack and swapped them so that the red wire would no go into the player on the left. Works like a charm now.

Wow - neat fix

To fix the boot problem, you have to remove the back cover and disconnect the battery for 3 to 5 minutes. This will reset the TSOP chip, thats the chip that stores the firmware and your music.
If you know how to use a soldering iron just remove the red wire from the battery. If you don’t have soldering iron, just cut the red wire from the battery, making sure to keep enough space to splice it back together, after you splice it back, put some black tape on it to protect it from shorting, not to much though, not a lot of room.
