Question about Lowrance iFINDER Expedition C GPS Receiver

New H2O C cannot find any satelites

First accept my apology for not being able to find the H2O c group. I received a new H2Oc for Christmas and it does not find any satelites to get the thing going. There is no troubleshooting guide in the owners manual that covers this, I was hoping maybe its something very simple like a box that isn't check while in startup mode or something like that. I can load data from SD chips but it still cannot find any satelites.

I also have the same problem with it not being able to find satelites. Luckily I was able to replace it because it was within 30 days of the purchase. I read on another board that it could be because of the batterys that were used. If anyone has an easy solve for this please post!

I have similar problems....unit does not find/lock onto sattelites...tried different batteries, soft rest and hard reset.....unit worked great for first year and a half...but since then, ZIPPO! (iFinder H2Oc)

Yup, same problem-o. Worked great for a year and a half and now just wont register any sats, for no other reason than a battery replacement.

Ditto for me-after about a year and half. It fins satellites fine, but won't lock on to them.

I've done the resets and fresh batteries, too.

Besides listen what do you do when Christmas carolers come to your door? Do you tip them?

If you want to. Some caroling groups do it for a church fund raiser, some do it just to share the Christmas spirit. You can ask them if they accept tips, or you can just hand it to them.

Can send pictures/photos but cant receive

O2 finally cam ethrough with the goods and sorted me out. The problem was not with the phone but with the sim card. It was an old sim card from my previous phone which had "I MODE" on it. Apparently the setting of my sim had to be changed to accept the new software on the K800i!
