We have purchased a used Fagor FI-48W dishwasher, it does not have a manual.
The instructions we have do not make any sense.
It seems to take 25 minutes to reach temperature.
Can someone help with simple instructions on how this thing should be used.

We just got the FI-48W and can't understand the manual either. We have no clue how to feed it detergent and rinse aid through the 2 thin tubes in the back and have called Ecolab to see if they'll help.

we have just purchased a Fagor dishwasher also - the instruction manual is worthless.
in regards to the 2 thin tubes, we just inserted them in the gallon jugs that the soap/rinse agents comes in and it works fine. just make sure the clear tube without the label goes in the rinse agent and the labeled tube goes in the soap jug. we did drill a hole in the top cap of the jugs and pushed the line thru and that helped keeping the tubes in the jugs and minimized the mess if the jugs fell over.
in regards to the temperature problem, we found that running it thru a couple of cycles before you start the actual dishes helped get the water temperature up faster. it seems to like to start with normal tap hot water first, so the 1st couple of cycles get the cold water out of the line.

We have been using this dishwasher for two years and it took time to figure out the best operating method.
Start with hot tap water.
Run first cycle once wash water reaches 150. The rinse water may not yet be at 180.
Wait until second cycle rinse water reads 180. This will take more time than normal. You should then be on your way.
Always wait for proper water temp before staring a cycle or dishwasher will run longer until temp is reached. (Machine is usually smarter than the operator.)
Rinse dishes & pots well before placing in dishwasher.
Previous reply correctly advised on feeding soap & rinse agents.
Make sure you use proper commercial "machine dish detergent" !!!!
Warning - repairs will be costly. Replacing detergent pump after two years operation cost 700 dollars.
