When i turn on it says protect.

The first few times this happened i would be able to turn off and unplug for a day or so and the once plugged back in would work again. Now this does not at all seem to work.

We have a Denon AVR-600 and -protect- is showing on the unit. We follwed the instructions in user manual and checked all speaker connections for shorts, cleaned vents and unplugged it for 24 hours. Nothing has resolved the problem it still says -protect-.

Denon AVR-810 going into PROTECTION mode

It sounds like there is a problem with the differential circuit. The bias I am not sure about, as every unit is different. You should get the service manual to be sure or call Denon and see if they can give you an idea. Good Luck
