Question about Mintek MDP-1070
A couple years ago I made a parental control password and since I never really touched the parental control password. I have forgotten what it is and I need to know how to reset it. Please help!!! I have a 6 year old rca dvd home theater with a password for the parental lock.It was not new when i got it and i have unplugged it for weeks and tryed 0000 and i still cant clear it can someone help me with this ?
I found a default password on the internet that was for a different make and model of portable dvd player and i tried it on my Mintek MDP-1070 and it worked, and allowed me to reset my password to whatever i wanted.
The default password as i found it on the internet was 8888, however on the Mintek the password is five digits instead of 4 so i just added one more "8", and the default password that i used to change mine was 88888. I hope this helps some others, I was very surprised when it worked for me also very happy.
