2.82 Upgrade for my PSP

I got a new game for my PSP and when I went to load it, the console told me I needed to upgrade the unit to version 2.82. When I told it to update, it said it wasnt able and instructed me to charge the PSP and try again. I charged it but now the screen stays black even thought the power light is on (green)

your ISO Games....
Presumably these are 'backup' of yours or others games ??
Do you have 'any' level of homebrew installed to be able to read your ISOs ??
If this is the case - you will need to revert back to the original firmware. . . if you need more detail, please comment.

How to upgrade psp ver.2.81

Under settings at the top, there should be an icon with two arrows forming a circle saying "Network Update". Click on that and it will try to connect to the internet to load the update. The latest version for the PSP is version 3.80. Hope that helped! If you have any questions, please ask!
