N70 screen freezing. the screen is no longer showing anything but just dark. i recieve the calls and messages but cannot see what is written. the problem started a month ago when browsing internet on it.

Hello - let's try and help. The N70 did have a software problem about 2 yrs ago that can be fixed.
The problem will shut down the phone while making calls.

just switch of your phone and remove your memory card and press hold * 3 and call button and on the phone it will work and dont move your finger from the * 3 and call button up to when phone dosent start
dear sir this is the problem usually caused by viruswhich happens when you are receiving files from p.c or untrusted mobiles...... and sometimes it might be software failure also, which causes some of the menu not tofunction,the only solution is to flash ur phone software from the nearest nokia care,it also updates your mobile software which increases the mobile speed.... thank you.....take care................

you need to format your phone so that you can receive messages again...input this code *#7370# and then click yes...enter your security code...after that your phone will reboot...it will automatically on..so please wait until the phone open..after that enjoy texting again..hope this will help you
