One speaker doesn't work

I have had my player less than a month, and the left speaker stopped working. Regardless of which pjack you plug the headphones into, it doesn't work. It also doesn't work using other headphones or speakers. Is this a defect? Has anyone else had this problem?

Re: One speaker doesn't work

I did, but I realized that I hadn't pushed the plug all the way in, so...I don't know other than that.

My mpman mp3 player stopped working after i connected it to speakers.. no technician can make it work again what should i do???

I've heard that you can get viruses from those if they were used before. It also may just be broken, and coincidentally, it broke when hooked up to those. Have you checked to see how the battery is? Does it turn on, but (if it has speakers on the body of the MP3) doesn't make sound? If so, then use earbuds/earphones.

My iPod turns on but the buttons dont work! They were working just fine then they stopped! How do i fix it?

Try this! Difficulty: Easy Time Required: Less than 1 Minute Here's How:
  1. NOTE: First make sure that your iPod’s hold button isn’t on. This is the little switch at the top left corner of the iPod video that you can move to “lock” the iPod’s buttons. If this is on, you’ll see a little orange area at the top of the iPod nano and a lock icon on the iPod’s screen. If you see either of these, move the switch back and see if this fixes the problem.
If the hold switch wasn’t the problem do the following:
  2. Move the hold switch to the on position and then move it back to off.
  3. Hold down the Menu button on the clickwheel and the center button at the same time. Hold these together for 6-10 seconds. This should restart the iPod nano. You’ll know the iPod is restarting when the screen changes and the Apple logo appears.
  4. If this doesn’t work at first, you should repeat the steps.
  5. If this doesn’t work, you should try plugging your iPod into a power source and let it charge. Then repeat the steps.
  6. If this doesn’t work, you may have a bigger problem, and ought to get more help.

The whole center turner doesn`t work anymore ,i think i need to buy a whole new middle button

If the dial doesn't spin, then unfortunately your Fuze is physically damaged, and will need to be repaired.

If the dial stopped working on its on, versus not working due to physical damage inflicted by being dropped, abuse etc., and your player is less than one year old, it is covered under SanDisk's warranty service. Email to ask about this. They will probably want you to provide proof of purchase (showing date and place of purchase and name of the reseller).

Ipod 30gb black buzzing noise

Sounds dead to me. My best advise is to sell it on eBay, be honest about the problems because buyers can bite you in to **** if you aren't, take that money and buy a refurbished one direct from with the same warrenty that a new one has. You can find out more about the warrenty on and scroll all the way to the bottom left of the page. You can get anything from a shuffle to an itouch for alot less. Good luck

Only one audio output working - not stereo!

It is the actual headset jack on the device. It wears out from plugging and unplugging the headset.

If its less than 1 year, call SanDisk and they will replace it.

Otherwise, if you are inclined, you can replace the internal headset jack.

Death of the Sandisk

Let's try this: take the battery out of the player and wait for a full 5 minutes. While the battery is out, please hold the power-on button for 10 seconds. After that, connect it to your computer (without the battery). Does it work when it's connected to the computer? Regardless of that result, disconnect it from the computer, then put a brand new alkaline battery back in, and see if it will turn on.
