Question about Xerox WorkCentre C2424DN All-In-One Laser Printer

I have xerox work center 415 and always give error J3 (it mean the cartridge is not install) I am sure I put the cartridge correctly I am sure I put the cartridge correctly but it give the same error, and I check the weir which connect the cartridge to the mother bored it was ok But the problem still there Pleas help me

If you have just installed these cartridges and got this message immediately, Make sure that these are the correct cartridges.

The cartridges for the Xerox 6180 are identical to look at, but have different part numbers, and crucially different chips.

There are also pagepack/Eclick versions of these cartridges.

If your printer is a 'pagepack' version of the printer, it needs pagepack/Eclick cartridges, and will give an error if normal cartridges are used. Similarly, if your printer is a 'normal' version, and you put a 'apgepack/Eclick' cartridge in it, you'll get an error.

If you've had the cartridges in the printer and used it WITHOUT getting the CRUM error message, the counter chip has become corrupted. This can happen if there is a power problem during a chip 'write' operation.

The error message points to the Black cartridge.

Hi sir i have a xerox dc 12 giving error code 10-500 after replacing a new web cartridge


This code means that printer is not detecting the cartridge. you can try to to remove it and re seat it or it could be faulty, her is a list of all of the codes.

Xerox workcentre m24 replace toner even if the toner is new


There is no need to worry a lot what you can do is that, just open the toner access door located at the front of the printer and then you can scroll down the list of cartridges until you find the one which is giving you the message of Replacing toner.

Then press the button "1" to reset the display toner settings. Installed new toner cartridge into the machine. Still getting the J3 error


Toner cartridge and J3 are two different things J3 is jam code something is not correct in the paper path.

What does check process unit mean


According to http://www.partsdrop.com/info.php?info_id=Pro645inf the error message is shown on the webpage, are you sure the toner cartridge is the correct one

This means that the catridge is not placed correctly in the printer. or there is some problem in the catridge...

Xerox workcentre 4150 printer cartridge not installed correctly


i'm going to try to explain this in english even tought is not my native language, i had the same problem with my xerox 4150, when i bought a new cartridge it worked perfectly but at some point it stoped working, and it says in the screen something like "remove toner cartridge and reinstall", the problem was that the chip (is like a sticker under the toner) was in bad position from factory, a men who worked in xerox told me that there was a lot of toner cartridge that came with this problem, and this chip is ultrasonic or something like that because it never make contact with the printer circuit, so the fact is that you only have to remove and re-paste the chip in the correct position, but you have to do it several times until it works, that's how i repaired it...

J3 error On Xerox WorkCentre Pro - 215


A J3 means the toner cartridge is not compatible. That is the what the J3 message means.
Make sure the correct cartridge has been installed. For example, a Pro16 Toner Cartridge looks very similar and will fit in the machine, but it will display a J3 fault. Install a known correct Toner Cartridge if you suspect the cartridge in the machine is the problem. If the wrong Toner Cartridge has been used, the correct cartridge needs to be ordered and installed in the machine
It is possible the chip on the back of the cartridge is bad. Have you tried reseating the cartridge? Maybe it is just loose.

you havenot installed drum cartridge properly inside the machine or you have installed the drum cartridge of Xerox 5816/5821.
