Question about HP DesignJet 450c InkJet Printer
I have a s/h 450c A1 plotter connected to a stand-alone PC running XP. I use a USB to Parallel connector. It did work fine. The computer now seems not to recognise the plotter. I have re-loaded the drivers and re-installed the plotter but it won't send even a test page. The document is spooled into the PC's software and is shown as a waiting document but the plotter does nothing. All the boot-up routine on the plotter runs normally and the "ready" light comes up as it should. I have it running to USB 001 but am not sure how I change that to try one or other of the USB ports. Any ideas anyone?
Check the cable connections, and the cable connector inside the plotter. Make sure your cables are good.
