Question about Raymarine E120 GPS Receiver
While you turn on your panelawitch fot you C 120
press the first grey bottom near the red powerbottum so long till
the plotter makes a factoryrest after this it will work again

A sofware up date is a good idea but you also need to check the voltage level to the unit. C series are very voltage sensitive and they need at least 12.1 volts at the unit to make sure you will not have any problems. This voltage issue is made worse by having a Radar connected to it.

You might try downloading the latest C-Series update from Raymarine's site. It is version 4.26. You can get it on ther site here:
Even if it is identical to the software in there now, the act of actually reflashing the software may get you up and running.

Switch ON the PC, boot the PC in 'Safe Mode'
by continuously tapping F8 button after just after you switch On until you get Safe Mode Option.
Let windows boot in Safe Mode and log in to windows.
Go to 'Start'--->Programs--->Accessories--->System Tools--->Click 'System Restore'
'System Restore' window will appear.
Here you will have to check "Restore computer to an earlier time' and click Next
Now you will find one Month Calendar window with Dates below, go to the previous month by clicking the '<' sign in the upper left hand corner of the Month Calendar and select any date that you see in Bold.
It is better if you could remember from which date you are facing the issue,
try to select a date prior to that date.
detail of that particular date should show "System Checkpoint" and
time on the right hand side box. Select that date.
Now, Click on Next and System Restore will start and windows will take a reboot.
After reboot your problem should be resolved.
