Re: Canadian time tones

Use the U.S. Time zone - it is the same time. Just go to the tool menu, select time, select US-Mountain and you will be all set.

Garmin nui 350 Tried everything. My brother-in-law past away recently and dont no his pin # . is it possiable to reset and use garwin ?

Going back to the security location will unlock the unit but in order to reset the pin code, the original pin code must be input.
To unlock the unit, it must be sent back to Garmin.

I just received a model #441 S from West Marine. My boat is moored in Alburgh, Vermont USA. It's about 1 miles south of the Canadian border. The unit won't show any chart untill about 2-3 miles south of...

You will need to get the Canadian Bluechart Card also. At this time Garmin doesn't pre-load the units with Canadian Charts. Maybe in the future. Here is a link to the card you will need.

I s there any way to program a business in the Garwin without the street address

With the Garwin GPS Device, it needs a location. It cannot save/direct/or perform actions that do Not have a Street Address uploaded.

If this helps at all, please rate this a FixYa. - Evolution

The only way to do it is to go to the location you set as "home" in the GPS. When you are at that location, the GPS will not ask you for a PIN and you can then go in and change the PIN.

If you don't know what the home location is, you'll need to contact Garmin

There are so many of these being stolen from vehicles, the PIN is designed to make the unit useless to thieves.

Good luck!

Gently pry off the grey face plate and underneath you will find a reset button. Try that and let me know if it helps.
