I just downloaded windows 7 and updated my drivers but it wont recognize my video card

Very strange. Windows 7 detects all graphics cards :S

Try Windows Update again, do a Custom scan and see if it comes up.

If it doesn't, you can download the drivers from here.

Best of luck!

Have a new 23 inch samsung monitor that requires res 1920x1080

The problem is the cable connection to the video card.
When using the DVI output of the FX 5500, the maximum screen resolution that you can select is 1280 x 1024.

But, if you use the Analog (VGA) output, the card will support resolutions up to 2048 x 1536, which should be ok.

Can't run a DVD from my Apple Mac through my Acer Projector -

Depending on which Mac you have, you need an adapter. The latest Macbooks use a Mini DVI to video converter - you can get one from the Apple Store.

Lost of audio while intalling XP S Pack 2 on ACER 7600gt

Check you have a speaker icon in task bar on right hand side, if so right click and select audio properties then check that the sound sliders are not muted. If there are no icon you may have a corrupt driver, so click Start>Run then type 'dxdiag' for a diagnostic on your sound and video. if a problem is reported go to this site and download audio drivers
