code 37 - will not spin and drain. The problem occurred after a stuffed animal came apart in the machine. This is an Intuitive Washer. Will I need a repairman or can I be walked through this?
I think the stuffed animal has stuffed the machine!
Thats pretty intuitive?
The remnants have clogged up the works by the sound of it. You can try putting a garden hose into the outlet hose and giving it a pressure clean. But NOT with the machine Powered under any circumstances!!!!!!
Take a coathanger and make a hook at one end. Remove the agitator, and blow air into the drain pipe,Look inside the tub while blowing( you may need a torch light)and the most probable causewill be staring you in the faced, where the bubbles are appearing. In my case it was an old sock. Use to coat hanger to remove the sock. It may take a few tries as the sock would have been there for a few months.. Make sure the area is clean, reinstall agitator.
Some stuffed animal material may have clogged in the pump. Fortunately Fisher Paykel makes their pumps small and very easy to get to. On my model they put the pump underneath the machine; didn't even have to remove any panels. If the pump's got clogged with gunk, you might be back in business if you can manually clean or rinse it out. If it got burned out, you will need to replace the pump. If you remove the pump, first pay careful
attention to how the pump is hooked up and what its connected to before snapping it out. There
are a couple of squeeze clamps holding it in place. I know
there have been solutions posted here with info specific to cleaning
or replacing a clogged pump. I had the same or similar problem after
washing a throw rug with a backing that was in poor condition. In our case, cleaning out the pump did not solve the problem, because it was burned out. My
husband replaced the pump. I
ordered the part online. I don't recall the exact price, it wasn't all
that expensive.. especially compared to a new machine or repair
person. Oh.. there is a way to test the machine using the wash cycle control buttons to determine if the pump is functioning or not, but I don't remember how we did that. Does anyone have that info?

Have a Fisher and Paykel top loading machine. Keep getting a code 37. It won't drain or spin. We already checked the hoses and they seem to be clear. I can't find our manual. What else can we do?
