Question about Boston Acoustics BA745 Computer Speakers
i bought a universal adapter that goes from standard european wall socket (220) to various DC outputs, from 1V to 12V. There is a little icon on the part that plugs into the converter and on the other side is the DC plug, which would go into the speakers. The icon (as i am told, is supposed to determine whether or something is in the speaker or not. the guy at the store was very unclear) He told me to look on the speaker for such an icon. There is none. It's supposed to determine the + to -. Will this short circuit if i get it wrong?
Any help on which way i should plug it in?
Well, first of all, you have to see what kind of voltage got there, if is 220 or 110 etc, then you have to put your adapter on your speakers and see the AMP too. (amperage of your speakers)
then you can hit the road!
