Rust on Flama stainless steel electric kettle?

posted by Tenaya on Dec 29, 2007

It looks like I have rust on the circular water indicator component on the stainless steel electric kettle. Can this be replaced or is it safe to drink with this? I was a little surprised b/c I thought this wouldn't rust. Any suggestions?
Cheers!

there are one that you can buy with a larger lid and you can wash it out to prevent rusting
