I have edited a video with Cyberlink but when I go to burn it to disc, cannot find the file in PowerProducer / 5.0

    Hi Visay

Sorry my question needed to be clearer. When I edit the video and save the file Cyberlink saves it to what appears to be PowerProducer and it's in a folder called 5.0. However when I go to look for this file in Cyberlink through Browse to burn the disc, nowhere, in Cyberlink DVD Suite program or anysub folders is the a PowerProducer folder called 5.0 so that I can access my file. I have searched all through the Cyberlink folders. I have also saved the file to My Videos but when I go to pick up from there it doesn't show. I am very familiar with programs and folders and searches but nowhere can I find my file through the Browse function to load it.

    Thanks Gayle

Hi Lyz, thanks for your reply, the probelm is I cannot drill down any further to call up my file. I think perhaps the easiest way to explain what is happening is to walk through Step-by-step what I'm doing just in case I'm actually not doing the right thing, as I'm still learning to use this program, even though I am following instuctions in the Index.

Firstly I open Cyberlink and click on the third icon on the top which takes you into the PowerStarter program options - Burn a DVD folder / Make a photo/video DVD etc and I click on the second. The screen now goes into PowerProducer and I open my file from the icon at the top which shows PowerProducer v3 and open the directory where my file is saved. I did a normal save in the program, so it would have defaulted to wherever this program saves to. Looking at the screen it shows a File name of Profile at the bottom and look in 5.0 for the folder at the top and I can see my saved file. The type of file is PowerProducer project files.

To burn my file I go to Burn DVD in Power Starter, Burn disc from DCD folder. I go into Browse and find Cyberlink in my program files and now my problem starts. I cannot find the file. I have looked in every folder in Cyberlink and cannot find Profile, 5.0 or my file name under anything. In the Browse In screen there is no option for delving any deeper into folders. You cannot go further. This is where I am stuck.

I even saved my file to My Videos and tried to pick the file up in Browse to burn from there but again am restricted by not being able to drill down further, the only two options I have are Cyberlink and DVD Suite. Neither of these can be opened further.

    I hope this is clearer.

    Cheers Gayle

In the browse window, select the File Type as "All Files" and then check if the video file appears?

Hi! For the File Type, instead of a defined one, can you set it to use ALL FILES? This is just beneath the file name bar. Let us see if it can see the file you have edited.

How to burn video cd?

Many of these drives came withdriver and video editing software that includes writing the final product.to a dvd. My LG drive came with cyberlink video software. This allows loading video files in many different formats, editing using the included tools to add titles, cut out parts not wanted, setting chapters, then produce by burning to the drive onto a blank dvd disc. Blanks come in dvd-r , dvd+r , and dvd-rw formats. The disc will play on dvd players. When you look at the disc with your computer, all you can see are the marker names. You cannot copy files from video discs. Other video editing software are: Cyberlink, Roxio, Etc... If you need product software, go to the link and enter your drive model number. http://msa.lge.com/product_listing?pageIndx=0&pagerId=0&catalogId=285&orig=index&md2psid=2-131468373284123264

Where can i get freeware/shareware copy of power producer 2 gold from please

Power Producer Gold 2 is not a shareware/freeware program; it's a commercial, off-the-shelf product from CyberLink. It is video-editing software and is used for home moviemakers looking for a user-friendly program. PowerProducer 2 is compatible with many movie formats and can double as a digital photo album. It's generally available at around $69.95. It won't add incredible graphics or Hollywood special effects to your movies but it's a reliable and simple system for capturing video, cleaning it up with editing tools, and burning the end product onto CD or DVD.

I don't know if Power Producer 2 Gold is available becaue Power Producer 5 is on the market. You can get more information on buying it at www.gocyberlink.com

Let me know if this helps.

I believe it's available for about $69 from sold by CyberLink
