Everytime I try to send a text i can only type so many words and then my phone freezes up and I have to shut it off and back on. I can recieve text though, and read them. I have tried the master reset and everything, nothing is working. What can I do?

Check your memory space and delete or uninstall unnecessary files, games or applications to free memory space used for processing. Also try an antivirus scan... it may have been infected from your bluetooth or internet activities.
The problem is autocomplete.. disable it and the text messaging will stop freezing. Just go into the same screen as if you're about to type up a text. Then follow these menu prompts "Options>Text Setup>Word Completion (Off)" That should help.
yeah i know what you're saying! my phone works fine, but it's just sending the texts is what freezes mine, and i dont want to lose my info. either. i wonder if there is a solution to fix this? my dad found that there is some setting configuration that will set the texting settings to normal or something, but he's working on that now, but i will keep posting updated information!
