CD Drive Tray problems There are two ways to open the CD drive door if the button just below the drive tray does not work. Go to My Computer and right click on the drive and click on Eject. If this does not work then you can manually open the CD drive tray by - Straighten a paper clip and gently insert it into a tiny hole below the drive tray next to the Eject button. Push the paper clip gently until the drive tray pops out, then pull the tray until it is fully out, then you can remove the CD disc. If you still having problem opening with the Eject button, then the CD drive is faulty and needs replacing.
If you can't find the button to eject the CD tray:
Open the Start Menu and go to My Computer (or Computer if you're on Vista or Windows 7). Right-click on your CD drive, and then click on Eject. The tray should eject. When you change the CD and still can't find the button, you should just be able to lightly tap the front of the tray, and it will retract back into your PC.
have you manually tried to eject the disc tray? There's a little hole on there somewhere, stick an unbent paperclip or safety pin in it and push until the tray starts to come out, then pull the tray out with your fingers.
Once you've done that, push the button to allow the tray to automatically retract.
go to computer and try to right click on CD/DVD Rom and then select Eject there..
if this doesnt helps u then u would have to manually release the CD/DVD rom..
just below the tray there is a Small Hole ..
use a Needle or any other device that may go in that hole..
try to press on eject button there.. and try to press using needle.. try doing so 3 - 4 times.. there is a latch that needs to be released to open the Tray..
this normally happens if the eject functionality of the tray is not functioning properly..
if ur computer is under warranty .. get the CD/DVD rom replaced..
let me know if this resolved ur issue
did you try to do the emergency eject ?
jewellers driver in drive pinhole.
use the eject method again, Computer powered Off. Open the drawer and push it back in firmly.

And ensure the 4 Pin Molex ( Red-Black-Black-Yellow ) is the right way round. Yellow usually faces to the outside of the casing.
