There are usually some torxes screws underneath the top of the dryer. They need to be removed. Then there are a couple of bolts at the bottom, they normally don't have to be taken all the way out, just loosened. and there should be a couple of bolts inside for the front assemble...unplug the door switch, lift up on the door and just move it aside. Don't move the drum around too much since it shouldn't have to be removed...the felt is normally attached to the door is should be replaced the same way you remove the old one. A good time to look at the wear on your slippers, which are really plastic glides for the dum to run smoothly on, but they are right there, and if they need replaced, the job would be simple at this point and cheap.

The dryer stopped working in the middle of drying a load of clothes. It won`t start at all now.If I turn the timer switch to the "cotton" setting, and turn the start switch, there is no ticking sound from the timer. When I turn the select switch to "regular" setting and turn the start switch and hold it on you can hear the timer ticking down, but the dryer won`t start. If you let go of the start switch, there is no ticking from the timer switch.

Dryer Does Not Turn On. Worked before, but does not now. Turned the on/ off knob and nothing happens. Tested continuity across on/off switch (knob) and shows that switch is good. Is there a fuse in the circuit?
