my screen is frozen how do i reset

MP3 MP4 bought for the kids for Christmas is frozen, only shows the timeglass icon, have tried to run the battery down and then recharge, tried going back to the computer and deleting, but won't read it as being attached. HELP!!! The kids are majorly bummed and I am in deep stuff cause I didn't discuss with my partner before purchase.

- I bought A mp3 player model # CMP622E In November 2008. Worked good for a while. The battery died, but I waited for 2 days to charge it.
When I plugged in the usb to charge, i left it for almost 4 hours. I will see the hourglass icon, and if I 'm lucky my menu will pop up. but that has'nt happen too often. Costumerservice will tell you to use the original usb cable or replace the battery. - finenoodle

- I have the same problem with my mp4 player. The hour glass is on the screen when I power up and it won't go any farther than that. I am not able to open the case so I'm not able to remove the battery to try to reset it. Got any ideas?

- generic mp4 player. after recharge the unit is stuck on egg timer window. won't budge. computer won't recognize the unit. tried holding menu & centre buttons down - didn't do anything any other ideas- Dirtydave57

Hi there,

I bought- like the rest of you an mp3/mp4 player”no name” at a reasonable prise which was 390, - Danish crones which approx equals 33 UK. £. The player is equipped with 8 GB of solid state flash disk.

At the beginning at delivery it contained a video with UK. Football stating that they believed to win the upcoming world cup In football (soccer) and this song I at thee beginning found quiet funny – I don´t want a hear it ever more.

After having added several videofilms and approx 100 mp3 music favourite hits I was looking forward to take it to Greece on the upcoming vacation.

At the first glance all looked well – but as soon as I was going to go to select another directory (map) the fuc…. Time glass came on. The player restarted and my confusion began to rise would this glamorous player go to work or what?

Several hours later I realised I had to reformat it.
So I did so.
The power went down in the middle and my confusion began ton rice.
Again I found out (not stated in the short manual that I received along with it) that the computer input power via the sub wasn’t enough for the whole process.

So I powered it with the live mains adaptor fort 2 hours and..

After several attempt I succeeded and started again – my conclusion to make this story short –
Add only the music you want hears and that goes for the video as well!
If ever the time glass should appear try to select another function switch it of by pressing the off button don’t use the switch it your mp4 player has one.
Then try select some games and finally select the area function that caused the player tor restart or show the time glass if it should happen maybe you have to reformat the player (mother fu….) and at a several times to make it work - mine is finally working at the time writing this.

you have to close it hook it on your computer and the turn it on then it will charge

I have used my Craig MP3 player once then it stopped working. The Battery won't charge. I have contacted the company and have alerted the business where I bought my Craig that they possibly may want to research the problems with Craig. As I read through a mountain of problems posted on the website with Craig, maybe their product is just a piece of crap.

the recordings screen on a Craig Digital MP3 player won't go back to the original Menu.
