The Sony VAIO CS-series Computer model has a known issue with its fan. If the fan is making abnormally loud noise and causing the Computer to shut off then service will be required. You can contact Sony Service Center to get the Computer repaired.

In this case, you may run complete system scan using an updated Antivirus program such as Norton to check for any potential threat. Furthermore, you can perform the C: Drive Restore using the VAIO Recovery Center or complete System recovery using the Recovery disc to ensure that the issue is not related to Software.

There are many things that could be causing this problem: bad processor fan, processor failure, bad power supply - these are the more probable causes. There really is no way you are going to know until you take it to a shop and let them test it.
