Over the stove Adora GE died nearly new

Over the stove Adora GE became non-functional during popcorn cooking. Nothing works now. No lights, exhaust, display. Breaker was not blown. Is the fuse in the control panel?

On a different topic, I'd rather have a hood that vents to the outside. Is that big $ to do?
