I have a nikon d60 and all of a sudden when i take

i have a nikon d60 and all of a sudden when i take a picture i get the hourglass and a (roughly) 3 second delay before i can see the image. did i hit a setting or something? how do i get it back to seeing the image instantly?

Is your battery weak or old? Is your memory card almost full? The more pictures on the card, the slower it gets.
