My TV wont turn on i tried unplugging it and dusting it out i got it used from my uncle it worked for about a month now and one day i went to turn it on and play a movie and it wouldn't turn on it done this in the past but i unpluged it and pluged it back in a few minutes later and it worked agian but now itz not working

I have a Mitsubishi model WD-60737 and to make a long story short 1st time problem lamp replaced fine for a month til my uncle hooked a DVD player to my TV next day turned on with solid green light then TV kept turning off after 2 to 3 minutes of beingetting turned on and a solid red light to show after. What does that mean? It's a brand new lamp and worked for a month so why shut down now? Could my uncle have did something to where it shook up the circuits or something?

well some time when the diveces are on use frequenly the buttons get stock for the daily from our body we deposit oils or skin cellsor dust uses get a hair dryer put in hot wind then for a minute o so after then push the bottom cople times and could fixed the problem ihope this help you

It is possible that your tuner module has some dry solder/weak joints that is causing the fault. Open as before and look into the board very carefully to see if there is any weak spot. Use a good solderring iron to touch up all the suspect areas but be very careful and do not try this if not familiar to solder as it might turn serious. Hence you can ask an electronic technician to check on this and solder up the chroma/processing stages and reset. If this does not solve the issue , the fault could be failure of the concerned IC. Confirm and replace carefully. Hope you get this right.Good day

The blinking green lite that wont go off wont allow the tv to come on. We tried resetting the tv it doesn't work Also the tv has been off for days have to unplug from wall for couple days then replug and reset. It still doesn't work. Please help.

Check inside the Tv for dust blow it out, be careful if using air compressor not to damage anything,or shop vac with hose on to blow instead of ****.hope this might help.
