Question about D-Link RangeBooster G WBR-2310 Wireless Router (WBR2310)
Okay, I am completely lost so I'm hoping one of you experts can help me. I got my MacBook Pro in April and bought the D-Link WBR-2310 so I could have Wi-Fi in my apartment. I also still at the time had a desktop that was a PC. I followed all of the instructions and the internet would work on my desktop but not on the laptop, in fact I couldn't open any files on the Mac. My friend, an internet know it all came over and tried to help me, learned my ethernet card was bad in the PC and the internet stopped working in the PC but couldn't help me with my Mac and the Wi-Fi as he knows nothing about Macs. A few weeks later, all of a sudden, the Wi-Fi started to work.
I just moved out of state about a month ago and set everything up except for my desktop as I just don't use it anymore. The d-link router is not working again. I'm sick of paying for internet I'm not using.
How can I reset my network and get this to work?
I am sure I gave more than enough information, but I have no idea.
Thanks in advance for the help!
