Lucent partner phone system

I moved in an office with a Lucent Partner phone system: 308 EC Mod R 3.0, 206 EC Mod R 4.1, ACS Proc. R 3.0, 400 E Mod R 3.1, and Partner mail VS R 5.0 I found where to plug in my 2 incoming phone lines and fax line and can call in and get the call but the prior guy's recorded greeting comes on. How do I get rid of that greeting and make my own? Is there a web site with simple instructions on how to use the phone? Basically I just want each phone to have the two incoming lines and one jack to be the fax line.

Is the time and date correct on the phones? If not, the system has lost its programming.
Can you dial intercom 777 and get into voicemail?

I have a Avaya Partner phone with the caller id screen and I have caller id on the account. However, the phone will not display incoming numbers. Am I missing something?

Can you please list the cards in the system?

IE: 308 EC, 206 EC ? Should be int the middle of the cards of your phone system.

I need to change my extension.

You can swap extensions 10 and 11 back at the phone cabinet. Remove the front cover(if there is one), depending on the type of partner system you have stations 10 &11 will either be in the center card(ACS) or in the 1st card on the left(partner and partner plus). Both ports should be marked but if not they are the first 2 ports. un-plug 11 and 10 and plug the cord previously in 11 into port 10 and vice versa.

Partner ACS turning on and off on it's own

One of the cards is bad in the unit. Assuming you have a 308 processor and 308 ec card and two cards in the system The 308 ec card has a bad or power supply in the card

When this happens look at the cards lights.

This is nothing you can fix yourself without a Avaya technician.

How do I change the time on my Lucent Partner 18d

Partner ACS, any release
Changing the time on a Partner system must be done from extension # 10 or 11. 1. At station(Ext.10 or 11) press feature, 0, 0
2. Press the left intercom 2 times
3. Enter # 103
4. Enter the correct time in 24 hr. format, for example:
* to set the time for 09:00 A.M., enter 0900
* to set the time for 04:45 P.M., enter 1645
5. Press feature, 0, 0

Lucent Partner 18D - Caller ID not working

The caller id information is sent from your local telco provider after the first ring and might not be able to be extended to the individual sets, try backing off the ring to answer on your voice mail from 2 to 3 rings to see if the information is then passed on. The Voice Messaging System message is being sent from the system showing who transfered the call to you. You should also notice that the ring pattern when that message is displayed is a standard ring followed by a beep meaning a transfer is taking place.

My lucent partner system will not turn on

The power supply on the main unit might be bad . what kind of partner is it . exam.partner ACS , partner plus , or a partner .

Line ringing on different phones

Im guessing by Lucent 308 you mean Lucent Partner ACS. Changing ringing on a Partner system is done on either ext 10 or 11.
At one of those ext's press the feature key and "00"
Next press the left hand intercom twice
The display should say system programming

Press the right hand intercom once. The display should say Centralized Programming.

Enter in the extension number that you want to program.

Press the line that you want to ring.
A solid light on the line means immediate ringing
A slow flashing light means delayed ringing (meaning the phone will wait 3 rings before starting to ring.)
A fast flashing light means no ringing.

When finished with that station press the right hand intercom and enter in the next extension to program and set ringing accordingly.

Press feature "00" to logout

Transferring calls

If you have a partner phone system, you can not.

If you have a Partner ACS, release 6 or 7, you can forward an extension to an outside number, but that is it.

Getting manuals are pretty easy at

Wander into your back room and look at the white or gray cabinet for the phone system. In the center of the cabinet, or the flat pack unit mounted on the wall will be a Partner phone system. The processor card is in the center and it has numbers on it, ie (ACS 3.0/Partner II, or something).

That's the manual you need. Search for Partner ACS and you will be overwhelmed with choices.
